Hi! My name is Ellen ES Ceely. I run Unfinished Publishing. I’m an Indie fantasy author and book cover designer.

When I was a child, I dreamed of being a famous author. Even before I knew how to write, I would draw stick figures on strips of paper and staple them together into “books”.

As I grew older, my writing continued. Short stories, one novella, and the start of several other books. As an adult, I got distracted by work and life and everything in between. I still worked on my writing through blogging, but it wasn’t the same.

In my late 20’s my desire to write fiction returned. I picked up the beginning of an old story and turned it into my first novel, Child of Shadows. A couple of years later I released my second novel, Son of Kings. I continue to work on and perfect my craft, knowing I’ll only get better with time and practice.

Writing brought me to book cover design. I dabbled in it a little, then decided to design my own covers. I’m still growing and have a lot to learn, but I’ve enjoyed the process and look forward to the future.
