An atmospheric psychological thriller cover built on a double exposure. A man runs away from the viewer, his silhouette merged with a fog-filled pine forest so that the trees appear to grow through his body. The palette is cold teal shading to near-black at the base of the frame, with a pale mist behind the figure. The title is set in bold yellow capitals stacked across three lines, the author name runs in spaced white capitals across the top, and two reader endorsement quotes sit at the foot of the cover. High contrast between the yellow type and the dark teal ground keeps the title legible at thumbnail size.
There is space for a hook, author credit and two reader endorsements – these can be removed if required.
